Anti Virus Plus is ParetoLogic's latest anti virus software. It was our first time using software by ParetoLogic but we did notice it had quite a good name in the anti virus, anti spyware circuit. And after we installed it we could see why it has such a good name. It was easy to install and run. Spyware doctor is more of a spyware and malware and adware application. Although Spyware Doctor did pick up spyware threats that the other 2 software titles didn't we have to judge it on the tests we ran. Out of the 3 it did find the least number of know trojan viruses. We did find the scan ran by spyware doctor to be the slowest of the 3.

It does go a bit overboard with some of the warnings when it comes to False Positives. Again "cookies" are flagged as a threat when in fact cookies in the majority of cases are set so a website can remember you.
